IU Physician Recipient of Lifetime Achievement Award

INDIANAPOLIS — Dean T. Maglinte, M.D., professor of radiology at the Indiana University School of Medicine, is the recipient of the 2008 Walter Bradford Canon Medal, a lifetime achievement award presented by the Society of Gastrointestinal Radiologists for outstanding contribution to gastrointestinal radiology. He received the recognition at an annual meeting in February.

Dr. Maglinte also was presented with the society's Richard Marshak International Lecturer Award in 2006. That year, he also was honored by the Indiana Radiological Society with a Gold Medal Award.
